Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Melted Chocolate Any type of chocolate works.

Equipment

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine self-raising flour and sweetened Greek yogurt. Stir until a soft dough forms, then turn it out onto a lightly floured surface.
  2. Knead gently for about 1 minute until smooth, being careful not to add too much excess flour.
  3. Divide the dough into two equal sections and roll each into logs about 12 inches long, then cut these into small pieces of about 8-12 grams each.
  4. Shape each piece into a smooth ball for even cooking.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (180°C) and brush the basket with a little oil.
  6. Air fry the donut balls in a single layer for about 5 minutes.
  7. Roll the warm donut bites in melted butter and then coat them in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
  8. Serve warm, either on their own or drizzled with melted chocolate.
