Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out your pizza dough into a rectangle measuring approximately 10x14 inches.
- Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving about a one-inch border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the sauce, followed by a layer of sliced pepperoni.
- Carefully roll the dough tightly from one end to the other, forming a log shape.
- Place the rolled stromboli seam side down onto your prepared baking sheet. Brush the surface with an egg wash.
- Sprinkle the top of your stromboli with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Cut several diagonal slits across the top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape.
- Transfer the baking sheet to your preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Notes
For great make-ahead meals, wrap unbaked stromboli tightly in foil and freeze. Bake straight from frozen, adding extra time as needed.
