Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the soft butter and granulated sugar for 3-5 minutes until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Divide the dough into 3-4 parts and mix in 1-2 tablespoons of Jello powder into each portion.
  6. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
