Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a blender, combine 1 cup of uncooked long-grain white rice with 4 cups of water. Pulse until well-combined, for about 1–2 minutes.
  2. Transfer the blended mixture into a large bowl or pitcher, add 2-3 lightly smashed cinnamon sticks. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. After the infusion period, strain the rice-cinnamon mixture using a fine mesh strainer.
  4. Add 2 cups of whole milk, 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Stir until well-combined.
  5. Serve the horchata over ice and dust with ground cinnamon.
