Step-by-Step Instructions for White Mushroom Pizza
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Pour a tablespoon of olive oil onto a baking sheet and spread it evenly.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add 8 ounces of thinly sliced cremini mushrooms along with 1 teaspoon of dried thyme and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano. Cook for 5-6 minutes, seasoning with kosher salt and black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle yellow cornmeal onto a surface, then roll out your pizza dough to a 12-inch round. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
