  • 1 medium Avocado Silken tofu can be a vegan replacement.
  • 6 oz Tuna steak Sushi-grade; consider salmon or cooked shrimp.
  • 2 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise Regular mayo works if in a pinch.
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato ketchup or sauce Sriracha can be used for heat.
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha Optional, use any hot sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon Lime zest Lemon zest is a good substitute.
  • 1 tablespoon Furikake or black sesame seeds Toasted sesame seeds can be used.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Step 1: Prepare Wonton Cones. Preheat your oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Wrap wonton wrappers around cream horn molds and seal edges with water.
  2. Step 2: Fry Cones. Heat coconut oil in a pan to 350 °F (175 °C). Fry wonton cones for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Step 3: Make Sushi Rice. Cook sushi rice according to instructions. Mix in rice vinegar, sugar, and salt while warm.
  4. Step 4: Prepare Tuna Mixture. Mix chilled flaked or cubed tuna with Kewpie mayonnaise, ketchup, sriracha, and lime zest.
  5. Step 5: Assemble Cones. Fill each wonton cone with sushi rice, avocado slices, and the tuna mixture.
  6. Step 6: Serve and Enjoy. Place assembled cones in muffin tins or a foam block and serve immediately.
