Ingredients
  

For the Kofta
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1 medium Onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper freshly ground
For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup Plain Yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for grilling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, fresh parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix until thoroughly blended.
  2. Moisten your hands and shape the kofta mixture into small oval shapes, about the size of a golf ball. Place them on a tray.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Brush the grill grates lightly with olive oil.
  4. Place the shaped koftas onto the preheated grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the plain yogurt, fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  6. Serve the grilled koftas alongside the creamy garlic yogurt sauce for dipping.
