  • 2 tablespoons Sanding Sugar Can be omitted if unavailable

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out your puff pastry sheets until slightly flattened and cut into rounds.
  3. Score the edges of each pastry round and poke the centers with a fork.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, lime juice, and zest until smooth.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the center of each puff pastry round.
  6. Top half of the pastries with fresh blueberries and the other half with halved strawberries.
  7. Brush the edges with melted butter and sprinkle with sanding sugar.
  8. Bake for 15 to 16 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  9. Remove from oven, cool on wire rack, and optionally garnish with extra lime zest.

Notes
