Step-by-Step Instructions for Samosa Pie
  1. Melt ghee in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Add diced jalapeño, minced garlic, ground chicken, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Cook for 8-10 minutes until chicken is browned.
  3. Incorporate diced potatoes and water. Cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
  4. Add green peas and chopped cilantro. Stir well and adjust seasoning, cooking for another 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer filling to a greased baking dish. Cover with rolled-out puff pastry, trim excess, and cut vents on top.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
