- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter until liquid, then let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the lukewarm butter, sourdough discard, and fine sea salt. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the mixture into a thin, even layer on the lined baking sheet.
- Lightly sprinkle salt or chosen seasonings over the mixture.
- Bake for 10 minutes until starting to set.
- Remove from oven and score into pieces with a pizza cutter.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Transfer to an airtight container for storage.
