Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, blend the white cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until a sticky dough forms, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add a few drops of Kelly green gel food coloring and stir until color is evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Prepare two shallow bowls: one with granulated sugar and one with powdered sugar.
  6. Use a cookie scoop to portion out the dough and roll each into balls.
  7. Roll each ball in granulated sugar first, then in powdered sugar.
  8. Place the coated balls on the baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 9-12 minutes until the tops are crackled and edges are set.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
