  • 1/2 cup Sweet chili sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 1/4 cup Bourbon Apple cider vinegar can substitute.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by marinating the chicken pieces in a mixture of buttermilk, salt, and white pepper for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours.
  2. In a Dutch oven, heat vegetable oil to 350°F. Use a thermometer to check the temperature.
  3. Create a seasoned flour mixture by combining flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and Tony’s seasoning in a large bowl.
  4. Coat each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour mixture and fry for about 7 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  5. In a small pot, combine sweet chili sauce and bourbon over medium heat; simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Whisk together eggs, milk, almond extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl for the egg mixture.
  7. Dip brioche slices into the egg mixture, then cook on a skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the sandwich by layering the fried chicken between two slices of French toast and drizzling with sauce.
