- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add sliced mushrooms, sauté for about 5 minutes until golden.
- Pour in whole milk or cream and crumbled Gorgonzola into the skillet, cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until smooth.
- Remove from heat, drizzle in white truffle oil, stir in sage and thyme, add salt and pepper to taste.
- If serving with pasta, prepare pasta according to package instructions, then combine with sauce.
- Transfer to serving platter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
