Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Whisk together flour, cornstarch, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients; mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Divide dough into logs, wrap in plastic, and chill for at least 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment.
  7. Slice chilled logs into rounds and place on baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes.
  10. Toss warm cookies in powdered sugar for initial coating.
  11. For extra sweetness, toss cooled cookies in powdered sugar again.
